The trustees were delighted to award a grant to West Rise Junior School which enabled them to purchase over a thousand new books for our school. West Rise Junior School have been updating their our library, so the library received copies of their favourite authors and some new much needed fact books.
Each classroom has been updated with a set of new books, chosen by the children, and based on the top 100 books for each year group: including the Harry Potter hepatology, books by Emma Carroll, Jacqueline Wilson, Michael Morpurgo, Suzanne Collins, Lisa Thompson and David Walliams.
The Trust are happy to were able to assist in this important educational project and hope that the children enjoy the books in the years ahead of them.
